Tried to take a picture of classic chemtrail formation (a month or so
ago), but my phone could only do it as a short video.
Wow, pretty bad (many at same time in sky). In the last 2 months, most days were clear but there were 2 days similar to your video (an obvious difference for those who are skeptical about it)

It's been pretty clear here also most days, but last Friday night, after dark, I saw freshly-formed chemtrails. That shoots down the excuse that they are necessary to abate global warming.

I don't understand the point you're making. Are you saying that the time of day that chemtrails appear has something to do with what they are for?

I'll try to explain it better. I used to assume that chemtrails were an effort to reduce global warming by cutting down on the amount of sunlight hitting the earth's surface. However, since chemtrails are also being made at night, it appears that they may be for some other purpose. According to one lady who is an expert on this subject (I can't remember her name, but I heard her recently on an Internet audio link), chemtrails are used together with HAARP. HAARP is a well-documented program by our government that uses high-frequency radio waves to electrically charge the stratosphere and ionosphere. Chemtrails usually contain nanoparticles of barium, strontium and aluminum, all of which are highly conductive and which, together with HAARP, can be used for weather modification. Supposedly, weather systems and even the jet stream can be diverted from their natural course, allowing weather to be used as a weapon, creating droughts, flooding, violent weather, etc.
As an aside, when I was working at Cal/EPA, I often saw surface soil sample results showing surprisingly high barium levels, and wondered how it could be getting into areas where there was no history of industrial activity. Perhaps the barium came from chemtrails, which I understand have been common since the early 1990s, since "what goes up must come down". We didn't generally analyze for aluminum or strontium, since they were not on the list of toxic metals that we sampled for. Even barium is not nearly as toxic as many other metals, but any metal, at a certain level, will become toxic.
