I like her better than Sue Grafton. Both pay homage to master Ross
Macdonald with use of the term "photostat" of their PI license. Probably
best to read the books in order, because they shift with the time. The
one I'm reading now, Breakers, mentions the Yelp building in SF. Her
husband (different last name) is also a crime novelist, but far inferior
in my opinion.
