Stephen King once said a friend and fellow author (I think Updike) said he writes the ending first, then works his way there. To that, King pointed a finger to his head and pulled the 'trigger,' saying 'what's the fun in that?'I feel the same way. Of course, you run the risk of wasting a LOT of time, but oh well.

Kinda like writing a lyric, except for less severe consequences on a lyric if you don't know they end before you start.

Cool, thanks!= It's very interesting what he said. From other interviews I've watched on YouTube, that's how most of the more successful authors seem to write. But you should just buy the book, you thief. :)

Thought you might want to read to read the Author's Note on p350 about
how he writes his books.
I download books in epub format from the library website then strip the
copy protection and convert them to PDF using a Windows shareware
program called Calibre, then put them on a kindle or ipad to read. That
way I don't have to finish a book in 2 weeks if I downloaded it legally.
